Saturday I went for a photo-safari on my own…. The destination was one of the west coast of Norway´s beaches. I have to admit that I “suffer” from an addiction to the sea. I cannot imagine a better place to seek serenity for body and soul. The quiet surroundings. The wave´s motions, either they are storming and roaring with anger or just silently move towards the shore. The beautiful shapes and colours. The sand and the stones. The sunset. The eternal horizon…. These are all elements I need to be happy, to feel alive.
The beach showed itself from its silent side this afternoon. The sun was shining from a clear and bright blue sky. The light created shades in all forms and figures on its way to the ocean´s surface and further on to the ground. Creating reflections in the stream. Amazing!
When the time came for the sun to set, it seemed like the world I was in there and then, was coloured with painted strokes of gold…. What a sight! What a view! What a peace!
